One in a series of videos exploring attitudes of prisoners, community members and administrators toward Unit 18 of the Wise County Correctional Facility. This tape features an interview with a highway department road crew supervisor with nearly thirty years experience in charge of prisoner workers from unit 18. He discusses his feelings about prisoners and supervising them. When asked to compare disciplinary procedures from the early part of his career to the present he describes the practice of hanging prisoners by their wrists and hanging them over a fire.
